End each week with Meditation Day! Becoming centered, grounded and relaxed will be the focus as Dr. Darla guides you through a short discussion and body-focused meditation session.

“Can We Talk?” is a support group for Black women, ages 55+ to explore life transitions in a supportive, nonjudgmental, and confidential environment. The group is made up of 12-15 women who are invited to participate in the program by “each one, reach one” model, where graduating group members invite one woman, they think would benefit from the group. The facilitator leads conversations on topics that include, grief/loss, loneliness, selfcare, the power of no etc.

• Date/Time: Once a month from 2:00 to 4:00pm
• Cost: Free
• Capacity: Limited to 15 women per group
• Registration: A brief intake is required to assess fit for group

This 6-week women’s only group process will take place as an in-person format. Together we will explore personal issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, and other things that emerge within the group. We will also learn new skills to manage signs and symptoms associated with presenting issues. Group therapy participants are asked to commit to attending group therapy sessions regularly for the duration of the group.

• Date/Time: Beginning Fall 2023. Six week group on Saturdays from 10:00 to 11:30am
